The Game Development industry sees a great opportunity and demand for skillful and creative talents in the upcoming future. The young generation these days, has what it takes to push and generate ideas on the gaming industry here in Malaysia. Recently, KDU University College has been given the green light by PEMANDU's Education National Key Results Area (NKEA) Steering Committee for the establishment of MyGameDev2020, as an Entry Point under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). The event took place at KDU University College, Damansara Jaya campus on 24th April 2012.

KDU is looking forward to a significant growth and role in building the Game Development Industry in Malaysia. With this official launch of MyGameDev2020, it is hoped that the Entry Point Project will enable Malaysia to become a leading Game Development centre in the region with a firm reputation as a creator of high quality, creative talents and content. KDU also aims to produce creative and potential individuals thus, creating an attractive package for foreign game developers and investors; and an incubation and support hub for independent game developers.
