As Nur Admi Kemalawati (also known as Wati to colleagues) said, "I feel so honoured to be a recipient of this 20 years service award. Over the years, I've grown and matured in KDU College. We have wonderful colleagues and I have enjoyed working here because of its warm, family-like culture."

"Time really flies; it was just not so long ago that I stepped into KDU College, and now it's already ten years since. I think that boils down to loving what I do. KDU has given me many opportunities to learn, be it managing people or managing the classroom more effectively. It's been great working here."

Proud and memorable moments like these will be cherished by the awardees. There are many other KDUvers who are also looking forward to 2011 when they too can walk up to receive their awards given in recognition of dedication and commitment, besides the length of service. For the lecturers that day, it was a day celebrated in their honour being Teachers' Day and it was one of those few times when lecturers from all departments could gather for lunch at Shogun Restaurant to mingle freely and chat over a sumptuous Japanese buffet.
