Healthy Diet: Practical Tips for Weight Management

On March 27th, Health & Wellness Centre has organized a talk, titled, “Healthy Diet: Practical Tips for Weight Management”. It is honoured to have Ms. Mimi Ho, a senior dietician from Sunway Medical Centre to share her expertise and knowledge with KDU UC students. She provides diet counselling and conducts diet workshop such as healthy eating program.

February was a festive month that filled with food, laughter, and late night gatherings. While the joy of celebration was going on, Health and Wellness centre took the initiative to organize a health screening booth which aims to monitor students and staff health conditions.

“Stressors are everywhere surrounded us and it could be a silent killer if we do not manage it well,” said Dr. Shiamala. On 22nd April 2014, KDU was honoured to have Dr. Shiamala educated the students and staff on the topic of stress. Dr. Shiamala is very active in Community Services, Medical Camps, Blood Bank Events and Travel Health. She has been invited to give numerous talks on Advanced Life Support for Adult and Pediatric, Stress Management and Heart Disease.
