SMKDJ was also the lst Prize Winner of a Go-Green Campaign organised by another private college. It certainly did touch Datin Wira Hj. Norizan bt. Kamarudin knowing that SMKDJ students have been outstanding in their achievements, and these achievements seem like a tribute to her and a testament to her efficient leadership as the retiring Principal of SMKDJ. As Datin Wira Hjh Norizan's retirement takes effect this week, she thanked the students and teachers for their commitment and diligent effort for all the competitions they had pro-actively participated. Some of her parting words and well wishes to the students were: "This will be my last assembly with you as another new Principal will be here next week. Continue in your good effort to keep the school and its environment clean; that includes personal hygiene. Cleanliness promotes good health. Also remember to respect others always: your parents, your teachers and the elderly. Do your best to succeed and I wish you the best in your future when you proceed from SMKDJ to colleges and other universities to pursue your further studies."

Extending her best wishes to Datin Wira Hjh. Norizan in her future undertakings, and thanking her for the encouraging and supportive role she has given to her students, some of whom have progressed to KDU College to pursue the A-Levels or other diploma programmes, Dr. Chia said, "You have so many winners today for the many other public competitions that you have participated. This clearly shows your determination to succeed, with the guidance of your teachers and leadership of your Principal. It is well and good because at KDU College, we give scholarships to deserving winners too.
