A proud moment - receiving the certificate from

In cherishing the memories of unforgettable high school years and for the fifth formers to mark the last year of schooling at SMK Seri Hartamas, a graduation day was organised by the school and the PIBG (Parents-Teachers Association). Everyone came in as early as 7.30am to register and to receive goodie bags, courtesy of KDU University College.

Held at the newly-renovated auditorium of KDU University College, the graduation was graced by VIPs Yang Berbahagia, Ybhg. Dato Seri Amar Diraja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Haji Osman Haji Aroff, Puan Rosimawati bt. Saad (Pengetua SMK Seri Hartamas) and Puan Salmah Binti Abu Bakar (Yang Di Pertua PIBG SMK Seri Hartamas). It was a proud moment for the 150 fifth form graduates as they strode up the stage to collect their leaving certificates in the presence of their parents, relatives, friends and teachers.

Entertaining the audience were a performance by a junior student who sang melodious numbers with his guitar and the "gamelan" ensemble (
featuring a variety of instruments such as xylophones, drums, gongs, bamboo flutes and metallophones).

Adding to the exciting ambience for the day was the impressive display of a digital backdrop accompanied by dazzling lightings in the auditorium. This is the first time since the KDU auditorium was renovated that a high school has used it for its graduation.

The day wrapped up with cheers and bright smiles for the photography sessions and lunch at the cool KDU Square (where KDUvers chill during the day). As the graduates thanked their teachers for their dedication and hugged their parents, friends wished each other the best in their forthcoming SPM examinations. Our congratulations to all who have graduated, and we wish you the best as you decide on your next phase of life and the career of your choice.
