Learning English the "Wright" Way!

Keith Wright returned to KDU University College, Damansara Jaya Campus ,for another round of workshop. While his previous workshop was catered to those in the workforce, this time around, participants consisted of Secondary School Students.

On a sunny Saturday morning, Keith arrived at the campus really early and only had fruits for breakfast. He was indeed, in a good mood.

" Lift the bar!" Keith Wright's way of demonstrating the necessity

in lifting the standards of the English Language.

The crowd,consisting of school teachers and Secondary School students, saw a great turn out of more than 500 students occupying the auditorium on 23 April 2011.

A brief introduction about Keith Wright:

- He is the author and creator of the 4's Approach to Literacy and Language;

- The columnist for the Sunday Star's "Exploring English".

- A Former politician of Australia

- A Teacher and Trainer

He was a very engaging speaker and involved his participants in activities on the stage.

Ms. Pak Mei Yoke, KDU's Director of Marketing and Communications, and
also a very good friend of Keith Wright, gave the students an overview and
brief introduction of Keith and also about KDU University College.

He became a celebrity at KDU University College. Almost half the crowd queued to take some snapshots with him.

Keith Wright, as usual, has never failed to make a good impression. He is truly an entertaining speaker and has a great sense of humour. Although his schedule was hectic , he made time to be here at KDU University College.
