The Power Chef Competition 2011 organised by SHTCA (School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts) made a comeback once again, after a great turn out of last year's competition.
The event took place at the KDU University College, Damansara Campus. The competition saw 63 strong teams participating from different schools within the Klang Valley during the First and Second Rounds. There were 51 teams that made it to the 3rd Round and Quarter Finals.

Their task? Cupakes. Sweet! 
Students displaying their creativity on the table settings. They used candles to enchance the look and feel. 
Even dressing played an important role to these two participants. Look good, feel good, and cook good! 
The judging moment, when students started to feel nervous and excited at the same time.

While the students were busy with the competition, teacher and parents were entertained by our very own Chef Fami who demonstrated cake baking.

Participants from SMK Taman Sea said: "We are very happy, joyful and excited that we are still in the competition for the Semi Finals and Finals. We will prepare ourselves even better by learning more recipes and watching more cooking shows."
