KISS 1.0: 10 Things You Should Know About Malaysia

10 Things You Should Know About Malaysia is an event developed specially to cater to the new international students who have just arrived in Malaysia. This event took place at Room 110 and around 10 students attended the session which kicked-off with an opening speech from the Club Facilitator. Our special speaker Ms Farihah from the School of Pre-University Studies provided a wealth of information about Malaysia including its food, cultural and education systems, races, history and law enforcement.

The main objective of this event is to enable the new international student feel more comfortable and at home in Malaysia even though they are miles away from their family.  Moreover, KISS is also focused to welcome new student into the KDU family, In line with KDU International Student Society’s tag line, “We will make you at home”.

The society seeks to reach out to new international students and treat each newcomer like a brother or sister. KISS also provides a good platform for friendship to be created among local and international students.
