A combination of innovative ideas with engineering and computing skills have shuttled creative students to the forefront of the MSC Malaysia-IHL Business Plan and Business Idea Competition for 2010/2011. This inaugural competition held at KDU University College, Damansara Jaya campus, was organised by Ms Law Foong Li, an IT lecturer.
She explained that in propelling Malaysia towards being a knowledge economy, MSC Malaysia with the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) have worked together with institutions of higher learning to discover latent talents in the fields of ICT and business. Termed as “Technopreneurship”, the competition seeks to challenge students from cross-disciplines to work together, as in a real-life organisation.
