Alex Au-Yong (Art Director/Hero runner) managed to finish his 100km solo run. He started off his journey at approximately 6pm at Putrajaya. This run involves 1 Man, 10 Suburbs, 100 km and 16 hours. For someone to finish the whole race, not only it takes practice, but also strength, endurance and optimism.

Once again, we should congratulate him and this made the Xtramile Charity Event successful.
Without the supporters, sponsors and kind hearts, this day would not happen.
One of the checkpoint is at KDU Section 13 campus on 18th June, where happenings such as charity bazaar, talks and band performances was going on.

The core message is to go the extra mile by doing what you are best at; serving the community within your reach; and doing it in long-termed sustainable fashion.

These ultra eye-catching dancers from KDU
PARTs (Performing Arts Club), made the opening performance with their slick moves.

Up next was the
Kabuki Breakers, also from the 8TV Showdown.

Mr. Talented beatboxer, also known as
Ahmad Riyal, who is the emcee for the day! He kept the audience entertained.

The first band performance by
Wanted Symphony! They rocked the crowd with their rendition of "Usher's, DJ got us falling in love again" and other songs.

Here comes the band with a unique and long name "
Once upon a time there was a sausage named Bob." This band is under demand of many young teenagers.

The last band to perform, but not the least was
Seconds to Collide. Their songs are slow and melancholic. Their music genre is influence by Indie Rock. Very cool!

There was also a charity Bazaar! Shopping spree!
Jason Wee, presenting a talk on the American Degree Programme and how he links his experience studying in the United States. He also explains about the culture and people from the US.
Not forgetting to mention, the LexisNexis Online Hunt. These lucky winners walked home with an iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570, LexisNexis Laptop Bags and Movie vouchers. Congratulations guys!
