Inspiration comes in
various forms, be it people, things, or even places. However, the most common
inspiration often comes from people whom we looked up to. This time around, the
School of Communication and Creative Arts organized a mini boot camp to nurture
and inspire to students who are interested in the Entertainment Arts industry.
A special session was specially
arranged for those who love to dream big, as the first step to stardom starts
here. The mini boot camp took place at KDU University College, Damansara Jaya
campus on 13th April 2013. There were special appearances by popular
names such as Amber Chia, Lawrence Wong, May June and Jess. All of them are no
strangers in the entertainment industry scenes.

From the mini boot-camp, participants
had an insight on the industry from modelling, to hosting, to acting, grooming,
broadcasting and the list goes on. They had loads of fun getting to mingle
around with new friends and the celebrity host.
The participants were given the opportunity to act and dramatize when it comes to performing on stage.

and Mass Communication faculty.
In the KDU School of Communication and Creative
Arts, students are often driven to success and given a taste of the real
world. Activities organized by the
school are hands on and practical in every aspect, giving students the right
amount of exposure. The Diploma in
Entertainment Arts prepares students for a performing career in the even
evolving entertainment industry. Students will learn how to market, brand and
position themselves in this competitive industry as the syllabus is carefully
crafted to allow progression into undergraduate studies in performing arts as
well as communication and media studies.
