The Design and Innovation Expo returns again this year, with more innovative and creative designs. We salute the students effort, sweat and determination to complete their final year project, with the help of their lecturers and project supervisor.
The event took place at KDU, Damansara Jaya Campus Auditorium on 29 June 2011.
Let us all take a look on the happenings at the Expo:
Dr.Satesh (Head of School of Engineering) made the opening speech .
Student from current First Class (Hons.), Ong Toon Kim
"I did not have confidence from the start but, because of all the effort and hard work that I put in this project, I finally complete it and the result was great. During the stages of this project, there were a lot of difficulties and problems. However, the most important element here is the determination and interest in the particular project. We have to be clear on what we are doing throughout the whole process."
"I have to thank my project supervisor, Magen Chan for guiding me throughout my final project. I believe that everyone who is dealing with this final project faced difficulties and challenges. I did not succeed at first, but I continued and kept trying and I finally got what I wanted, trying to make it work. We must always be prepared for challenges and to keep on trying on our final year project."

Congratulations to the winners. I hope I had a chance to come and see what they've done. I usually go to these events with my brother who happens to be an engineer man.
Hi Mae,
Hopefully you can come to next year's Design and Innovation Expo!
