Lunch times can be a bore at times. However, a little fun is in this time. The School of Communication and Creative Arts launched the
SCCA Lunchtime Performance so that the KDU Community can come together, have fun and a good laugh, relax, enjoy as well as catching culture and
art live at the Black Box studio. The first performance took place at KDU University College, Damansara Jaya campus on 19th March 2013.
This first round, called AIYOO by the Diploma
in Entertainment Arts students showcased a lively medley of Malaysian youth
culture today.
As a finish to Dance and Movement module, the students
incorporated local slangs and lifestyles typical in multicultural Malaysia.
The crowd at Black Box laughed at some of the gigs
like sneering at a guy just to say he liked the curly golden hair. Of course, posting
on instagram our favourite food and serious use of ‘# ‘in our messaging was not
forgotten. The students also did a series of cool
modelling poses and groovy dance moves to entertain the crowd. Come to think of it, lunch time can't be all that bad afterall :)
Do catch the next SCCA Lunchtime Performance!
